We provide qualified CUA supervision for contractors performing work near high-voltage transmission and distribution infrastructure, including projects associated with major utility corridors such as those operated by BC Hydro.
Services include:
On-site CUA supervision for forestry and logging operations
Oversight of tree falling, harvesting, and vegetation clearing near transmission lines
Alignment with established safe approach distances
Work planning review and operational risk assessment
Hazard and wildlife/danger tree evaluation
Documentation supporting contractor due diligence
Communication support between contractors and utility stakeholders (as required)
Our objective is to reduce risk exposure while ensuring operations are performed in accordance with applicable safety standards, WorkSafeBC regulations, and recognized industry best practices.

Wilson Arborist Services is available as a subcontract arborist to:

Technical climbing and complex dismantling
Utility-adjacent tree removal
High-risk hazard tree assessment
Project-based transmission support
Short-term CUA coverage for specific scopes of work
We no longer provide direct-to-homeowner residential services. All operational services are delivered under contract to qualified companies.
